Why Clients Love ART
No need to share all the details. You don't have to relive every painful memory.
No homework. Change happens during the session—you get to just go home and enjoy the benefits!
No long-term therapy commitment needed. ART is short-term and solution-focused. It can also be combined with traditional talk therapy if you're looking for the best of both approaches.

Can feel better, FAST. Many clients notice improvement in just 1–5 sessions.
Can feel calm, confident, and regulated. Instead of being flooded by overwhelming emotions, you can feel more in control.
Can address emotional blocks and a wide range of challenges. From anxiety and trauma to grief and relationship struggles.
Can feel a sense of control. ART trusts your brain to lead the process, giving you an active role in your healing.
Can play with creativity. Guided visualization exercises allow you to use your imagination as part of the therapy and healing process.
Can feel whole, healed, and excited for new beginnings! Clients often experience a sense of restoration and renewed hope.
What is ART?
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) uses bilateral stimulation and guided visualization techniques to reprogram the way distressing memories and images are stored in the brain. This helps them no longer trigger strong physical or emotional reactions. ART is evidence-based and often achieves results in fewer sessions than many traditional therapy approaches—frequently within 1–5 sessions.
How does it work?
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) helps you heal from trauma and painful experiences without having to relive or retell them in detail. In just a few sessions, many clients find lasting relief and move forward with greater peace, confidence, and emotional balance.

It may sound like science fiction, but ART allows us to change the emotional impact of memories while retaining the factual information. This is one of the most powerful aspects of ART. We can access painful memories and reprocess them to create a more positive experience. This also increases your ability to view situations more objectively and respond in healthier ways.

What happens during an ART session?
During an ART session, we'll choose an issue or memory you'd like to work on. We'll briefly explore the images and body sensations associated with it while using bilateral stimulation—either through rapid eye movements or gentle tapping—which helps create a calming effect for most people.
Next, we use unique guided visualization techniques to soothe overwhelming memories and sensations, replacing them with positive, supportive images. Your brain already knows how to do this—we simply start the process and get out of the way, guiding you toward relief and lasting change.
Ready to give ART a try?
If you're ready to experience the power of ART, we can work together in several ways.

In-Person & Online
We can work together at my Doylestown office or online from anywhere in PA.
ART can be incorporated into talk therapy, or we can focus solely on ART for short-term, solution-focused work.

Intensives
For clients seeking a more intensive experience or traveling from a distance, we can schedule longer sessions or multiple sessions per week to help you feel better even faster.

Team Approach
If you already have a therapist, we can still integrate ART into your care. I'm happy to collaborate with your current therapist as part of a treatment team to help you reach your goals.
