Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
AASECT-Certified Sex Therapist

Fun Facts
Like most therapists, I have 10,000 cardigans and there are orchids everywhere. I also love organizing—hello, rainbow-order bookshelves!
My approach & philosophy
My style is engaged, compassionate, and collaborative. I am active in the room—asking questions, teaching skills, helping you practice them in session, and coaching you in mindfulness exercises. Therapy can involve emotionally heavy lifting, and yet it can also be playful and fun, just like your relationships. Many of us weren’t taught effective communication and relationship skills, and you can’t do what you were never taught, There’s no shame in coming to therapy to learn and practice these skills.

I work to make sure client strengths and unique identities are honored, supporting the creation of greater confidence in each person and helping you achieve deeper connections in your relationships. The foundation of our work focuses on compassion, communication, and understanding how you see yourself so you can have a healthier relationship with yourself and those around you.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and AASECT-Certified Sex Therapist (CST), I am uniquely able to understand the complex interplay between all areas of your life. Beyond this foundational work, we will focus on your unique goals.

While I take mental health and our work very seriously, I also like to bring a sense of playfulness to the space. I’m going to work as hard as you will. I’m empathetic and compassionate, and I’ll hold the space so you can do it for yourself.

My history
I started my career in the business world, working as a VP for a large dealership for seven years. Over time, I found myself wanting to help people in a more personal and meaningful way.
In 2014, I went to graduate school to pursue a degree and training in couple and family therapy, with a specialization in sex therapy.
In 2016, I opened Kindred Counseling Center, combining my expertise in the business world with my passion for helping people. I am so grateful to be living a life that gives me purpose every day and to work with so many incredible clients.
My expertise
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), trained systemically to consider how all facets of your experience impact you and your mental health. Systems may include your family, peer relationships, religion, race, culture, institutions, and more.
I am also an AASECT-Certified Sex Therapist (CST). I completed rigorous training and coursework specifically related to sex therapy. I work with individuals and couples—including monogamous, non-monogamous, kink, polyamorous, and LGBTQIA+ clients—addressing concerns such as performance anxiety, desire discrepancies, and sexual dysfunction. You can learn more about AASECT certification here.
My education & training
Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy, Thomas Jefferson University, Couple & Family Therapy Program, with a specialization in sex therapy. Awarded Honors for Masters Project in Emotion-Focused Therapy.

Completed internship at the esteemed Council for Relationships, Philadelphia, PA, gaining valuable clinical experience.
Completed hours for licensure and certification under the supervision of some of the region's top clinicians.

Since earning licensure and certification, I have continued to advance my skills and knowledge. If you've visited my Doylestown or virtual office, you know I read—a lot. Staying current on the latest research and treatment methods is essential to my practice. I also regularly attend supervision and consultation meetings to challenge myself and continue growing professionally.
As part of licensure and certification requirements, I obtain continuing education units (CEs/CEUs) each renewal period—and I consistently exceed these requirements as part of my commitment to providing the highest quality care for my clients.
